Production Director

Position Overview

Yodle, a leading provider of local search advertising and online lead generation services to small and medium businesses is seeking a Production Director to provide hands-on management to our production team. Reporting to the VP of Client Services, this newly created position will support our huge growth and offer a unique opportunity for the right candidate. This position supports the advertising needs of both Yodle and the thousands of merchants (advertisers) in the Yodle Advertising Network.
Responsibilities
- Project manage the design and content development of web templates and other interactive promotions such as e-mails, banner ads, and Yodle adverPage web properties.
- Perform A/B testing and multivariate testing.
- Experience managing an offshore web design and web development center
- Implement wireframes for new web -templates and guide junior staff with their own designs
- Understand design best practices and call-to-actions for different industries
- Collaborate with client implementation and account management teams to ensure accounts are successful
- Work with and make recommendations to product development on ways to improve Yodle’s Content Management System
- Become an expert in Yodle’s products and services so you can quickly and confidently recommend areas of improvement and opportunity
Qualifications:
- Proven mentoring and team building/coaching skills of a web production team to provide clear creative direction and inspiration
- Strong technical and user centered design skills with demonstrated success in past projects
- Experience as a project manager; specifically managing a high number of small projects at once
- In-depth experience in developing web based creative solutions and online advertising campaigns.
- Experience managing a queue
- Knowledge of Visio or Omnigraffle for purposes of mockups/wireframes persuasive online copywriting skills that drive action (or the ability to direct copywriters in this manner
- Experience / Knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Fine Arts or Graphic design
