The Search Engine Marketing Manager will work directly with search engine partners (i.e. Google, Yahoo) to create SEM accounts, implement optimization initiatives, communicate results, improve upon campaigns, and quickly and effectively resolve problems. Responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining online advertising campaigns, including: gathering and organizing information, determining acceptable acquisition costs, coordinating all activities of paid search buying, identifying and developing contacts for online campaigns, monitoring/analyzing results to determine effectiveness, managing monthly budgets and preparing client reports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Monitoring, testing and analyzing campaigns, including keywords and ad copy, in order to increase ranking and CTRs and over all effectiveness of SEM.
*Data analysis, charting and reporting Account creation and management *Relationship management with search partners
*Tracking and management of marketing ad campaigns
*Writing effective ad copy
*Conducting ongoing SEM competitive analysis research
*Working closely with AdOps, Audience Development and members of the SEO/SEM, Technology and Product teams.

Qualifications
*Minimum of 5 years prior search engine advertising experience. College degree preferred.
*Position requires a drive to continually improve results.
*The Search Engine Marketing Specialist will demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised.
