Playboy Enterprises is looking for a Senior Vice President of Content who will lead and direct all creative content efforts for our digital media group (Online, Mobile, & International) to new and awe-inspiring levels of originality and sophistication. This new position reports directly to the Executive Vice President & General Manager of Digital Media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop new innovative features on playboy.com that combine interactivity, content, and community into a compelling and unique experience.

2. Determine the editorial voice, look and feel of all Playboy Digital products.

3.Work closely with other Playboy Media groups (Magazine, TV, Radio) to develop a consistent brand approach and best utilize all content assets.

4. Create new Mobile applications and content in conjunction with our partners worldwide.

5. Manage daily content production, design and editorial efforts across all Playboy Digital products.

6. Develop new premium content experiences and work closely with the Marketing Group to evaluate and optimize their monetization.

7. Monitor and evaluate all competitive properties to ensure that playboy.com remains the leader in its men’s lifestyle category.

8. Work closely with Ad Sales to create integrated ad units and ensure that we are maximizing our advertising revenue.

9. Develop a comprehensive Product Road Map for the Digital Media Group with a corresponding budget

10. Devise an International digital content strategy that leverages Playboy’s many content partners around the world and allows both content and ideas to flow freely.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Currently 25 to 30 total employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

. 10+ years significant new media/digital programming and production experience with progressively increasing levels of authority, required.

. Creative visionary with strong track record of successful new programming ideas and concepts.

. Solid grasp of Web 2.0 staples such as community and user-generated content.

. Superb verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, required.

. Bachelor’s degree required.
