Audience Development Manager - TIME.com
TIME.com has a great opportunity for a motivated marketer to grow and manage its audience. You will be responsible for an audience development strategy that focuses on increasing key site metrics such as pages consumed per visitor, time spent on site, frequency of return, etc. This includes understanding and reporting site traffic patterns and user behavior, analyzing current site metrics and making recommendations to management to improve.
It also focuses on the development and execution of internal marketing to increase recirculation and build repeat traffic as well as building the newsletters’ subscriber base and product offerings. In addition to internal marketing, this position also requires the management of search engine marketing efforts, the development and execution of external marketing including blog outreach and promotion on external sites to market new product launches and site developments.
This person will manage the annual budget from forecasting traffic volumes to estimating marketing expenses. The ideal candidate should demonstrate initiative, creativity, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills. The ability to multi-task and shift gears quickly is a must. Knowledge of the online marketplace is a plus. This position manages one skilled associate marketing manager and reports to the Marketing Director.
