We are currently looking a senior PHP Developer / Architect for an exciting new social direction for Go Daddy. We are looking for a well-rounded engineer with a solid foundation in software engineering and the ability to think through complex problems. Lead your team in defining, establishing and building a robust, scalable architecture

Coding, unit testing and integration testing

Troubleshooting technical issues

What do you need to do this job?

Experience in developing Wordpress, Wordpress MU, Buddy Press and/or other social site platforms

5+ years experience in software development
BS Computer Science (or equivalent college degree)
Strong Object Oriented PHP skills
Strong Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (AJAX, JSON, DOM)
Experience and understanding of cross browser compatibility issues
Experience with Apache and PHP Extensions
Comfortable at the command line
Solid UNIX background
SQL knowledge and relational database design

MySQL specific skills a plus

Additional Skills (Not Required)

Basic understanding of C and open source development tools (make, gcc, gdb, etc.)
Experience with Smarty Template Engine
Experience with NuSOAP and PHP SOAP
Experience in a mixed operating system environment
Thorough understanding of HTML standards and documents
Comprehensive knowledge of regular expressions
.NET experience a HUGE plus
