Great article, interesting and informative!

I've been using JS-Kit for awhile, and have loved everything about the service.

I was most excited to read this:

<cite>The other update is that now there's SEO (search engine optimization) support for your comment data - everything will be indexed properly. </cite>

The best just keeps getting better!

Hi Allen,

It was a pleasure talking with you yesterday. I am always
amazed at how you get to the meta issues and doggedly stay with them until you get an answer.

Our efforts with an open standard login instead of having a proprietary login, data replication back to the blog instead of data lock-in, and 100% SEO for the blog owner are, in part, due to your shinning a light on these foundational issues.

Thank you for being a standard bearer for the industry and encouraging us all to push further ahead.

Be Well,

Khris Loux, CEO JS-Kit

Agreed, synchronization is an important next step in data portability. If properly implemented it can be much more powerful than manual import and export. The case mentioned of a company closing is one of many possible situations, and hopefully Js-kit will inspire other developers to focus on similar features.
