Kwiry Adds Shortcut Support for Netflix and Amazon
Kwiry is a mobile reminder service that lets you text message a reminder back to yourself for things you hear and see while out-and-about. Check out the reviews from their launch in May on WebWorkerDaily and VentureBeat. Today Kwiry is announcing SMS support for Netflix and Amazon — Kwiry calls these functions "shortcuts".
These new Kwiry shortcuts will allow users to use text messaging to add movies to their Netflix queue, add products to their Amazon Wish List, and add appointments to their calendar. Basically the idea is that if you are at lunch with a friend and the friend tells you about a great movie (i.e. WarGames), you can add it to your Netflix queue directly by sending a text message to the Kwiry SMS server. The Amazon shortcut works the same with products that you wish you had – just send a text message to Kwiry and they will be instantly added to your Amazon Wish List.
