lalawag Offers Tech Gossip For Los Angeles
After watching many episodes of Sunset Tan, I learned that "la la" is a nickname for Los Angeles. And today marks the launch of lalawag which is attempting to be the Valleywag for Southern California and specifically Los Angeles. The site focuses on content in the following areas: news, events, people, photos, rumors and videos.
So far it looks like there’s a mix of news and gossip listed on the site. From what I can tell about the LA tech scene, there should be plenty to write about in both categories.
Lalawag is edited by Sean Percival who is very well connected in the LA tech scene. Former Valleywag writer Alaska Miller is also working on site content and Dianne de Guzman handles the event calendar. There is a NYC page as well which aggregates feeds and Twitter streams from people involved in NYC technology.

Sean’s a clever guy. Somehow, he got the people that he’ll be “wagging” on to help him with the site. We love Sean here, which I guess means we’ll even help him at the risk of hurting ourselves.
Cool to see you cover this Allen.
