Introducing ourselves
SONY BMG Music Entertainment is a global recorded music joint venture with a roster of current artists that includes a broad array of both local artists and international superstars, as well as a vast catalog that comprises some of the most important recordings in history. Job duties
This individual will work closely with labels, design, development and production on Direct to Consumer projects and be a single point person with accountability to see sites through from conception of production. This person must be able to wear multiple hats, be extremely proactive, organized, responsive and creative. Passion for music, technology and the social web are musts.
The responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
•Account management (labels)
•Competitive research
•Evangelizing Global Digital Business technology platforms
•Identifying and assessing new product requirements
•Product management

Job requirements
•B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or Design (Masters preferred)
•2+ years of consumer web production management, UI/design, or interactive agency experience
•Knowledge/familiarity of Drupal, HTML, CSS, MySQL, FBML, OpenSocial
•Must be analytical, able to asses and evaluate new products and business models, have attention to detail, a passion for technology.
•Must enjoy “thinking outside the box” and the ability to maintain composure in a fast paced environment.
** Although based in NY, this role may travel to both LA and Nashville with some frequency.
