MySpace is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive mobile business strategy while structuring/negotiating partnerships in the wireless space. Candidates must have knowledge of mobile technology and related business experience. Applicants must reside in the LA area.

Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate market trends in the wireless industry
- Prepare presentations, financial projections, and strategic analysis
- Evaluate potential partner opportunities, make recommendations and negotiate agreements
- Effectively manage internal and external relationships

Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelors Degree from a reputable university, MBA or masters degree in technology related field a plus
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience from a top-tier mobile company, media company, mobile device manufacturer or consulting firm
- Strong understanding of mobile industry and emerging mobile technologies
- Deal negotiation or client management experience
- Track record of building new businesses or 3rd-party partnerships
- Demonstrated expertise in financial and business planning including developing budgets, financial models and valuation analysis
- Strong analytical /strategic thinker and creative problem solver
- Strong oral communication and presentation design skills
- Passion for technology and social networking
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal functional departments
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and willingness to learn from and collaborate with a broad diversity of colleagues
- Ability to set personal goals and manage time
- International experience a plus
