Manager, Technical Accounting

Job Description:
* Identify and resolve accounting issues focusing on acquisitions, investments, and stock based compensation.
* Work closely with the Business Development team on the evaluation, structure, and integration of acquisition.
* Serve as resource for researching and providing clear explanations and guidance for complex accounting issues as they arise throughout the organization.
* Lead the assessment of the accounting impact on the Company’s financial position and results of operations from both a current and prospective basis relating to proposed and emerging accounting statements, standards and reporting guidelines.
* Communicate results and make recommendations to senior management for implementation and processes that will allow the Company to comply with newly enacted accounting standards.
* Develop accounting policies, procedures and controls relating to newly enacted accounting standards and serve as project lead for implementation purposes including all project management and communication to ensure timely adoption of accounting standards.

Qualifications:
* 8-10 yrs in a mix of public / private accounting
* Strong knowledge of SEC rules and US accounting rules and regs
* CPA preferred
* Good presentation skills
* Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, PC and written/verbal communication skills
