Marketing/PR Manager

ROKKAN, a New York City based interactive agency, is looking for a creative, proactive Marketing Manager to handle PR and Marketing duties for our New York office. The right person would have proven networking skills to help reach out to different areas of online and print publishing as well as a fundamental understanding of the many facets of interactive media. Your goal would be to market the ROKKAN brand as well as the many sites we launch on a continual basis. Networking is key in this position.

Qualifications should include:

• Relevant interactive experience
• Take the lead in the development of promotional initiatives
• 2-3 years marketing experience
• Excellent written, verbal skills
• Great references
• Interest in working in a small company environment
• Ability to take charge and be proactive while working mostly independently
• Reliable
• Attention to detail
• Polite, enthusiastic attitude when dealing with people a definite must
