Anyway, this is another technology that would benefit from a federated system..

Important to remember QR codes can also be color:

I don&#039;t see the significance in having color as camera phones are only getting better. Any performance advantage will soon be gone and there is an obvious increase in printing costs with color.

A friend&#039;s startup is trying to do this with a hybrid approach using RFID/NFC and SMS/UniqueID alongside a dedicated app.</description>
