Mimeo presented their off-site Web printing service at the NY Tech meeting last night. This might be one of the most interesting business models I've seen as of late. You upload your documents to their service (you can even use your normal printer function) and they print them as you request and overnight them to the location(s) you select. Their printing facility is located in Memphis which is where the Fedex shipping HQ is.
One staggering statistic they shared is that they print between 2 and 3 million pages every evening. One thing that no one has noted so far, Memphis is also the headquarters of International Paper and just an hour away is Georgia-Pacific. My guess is that they get most of their papers from these companies and the location is strategic for more than just the shipping partner.

Mimeo is awesome - great print quality, customer service and automated alerts for when things are done being printed, have been shipped, were delivered, etc. I used them for a big presentation and had the books shipped direct to the hotel where the meeting was with overnight turnaround. Regarding their location, I asked that question and it appears to be Memphis because FedEx is based there, and they can drop off shipments very late for next-day or same-day delivery.
