Mint is the poster child of a service that needs to implement OAuth. Of course the sites they connect to must do it first but without a way to give them access without giving them your password, they will find it hard to get users.

Amazing how far supposedly "legit" companies go when it comes to competition.

All things set aside but I would really expect them to keep a professional distance especially because they deal with finances and want me to disclose so much about my spending.

I would welcome my bank to flame their competitor just because they can. I would regard this as unprofessional and move on.

In regards to the competition, I don't think Geezeo and Mint are direct competitors. They have different markets that target and offer different services. I find Geezeo to be much better and more user friendly.

I've been using Geezeo since May and absolutely love it! The site has just been revamped and gets better and better. As a student it is very hard for me to keep track of my finances, especially on my debit card. With Geezeo's new budget tool it helps me track how much I spend and budget better for the future.
