Mippin Launches Mobile Web Creator
Mobile news provider Mippin has announced the launch of Mippin Maker today. Mippin Maker allows you to take any Web site or blog and create an instant mobile Web site. The basic site appears to show an enhanced RSS look. If you signup, you can customize the look and feel along with adding rev share monetization.
After you create the site, you can share the new mobile site with your friends and site visitors by URL or by QR code. The QR code idea is hot. I'd like to see Mippin explain how I can setup their service on moo.centernetworks.com instead of sharing "mippin.com/moo" with my site visitors.
Another site in this area that I like is Wirenode (our coverage). As mobile devices become smarter and the browsing experience becomes enhanced, will services like Mippin and Wirenode still be needed? Both services need to stay ahead of the mobile curve to remain important and needed for the long run.

Hello Allen,
You can continue to use your moo.centernetworks.com address by giving your servers a list of mobile user agent addresses and asking it to re-direct (invisibly) to the mippin address when it sees one. Drop me an email if you'd like a complete list of mobile user agent names.
For the long term, we hope that Mippin will become relevant more for its usefulness as a utility rather than simply because it makes the web useful (which is certainly an advantage right now).
We hope that Mippin will become one of the three or four sites you always visit, if not your homepage. We are working hard to deserve that kind of usage and have an open ear to feedback from any and all users.
Mippin
