Miss USA Tara Connor now crowned Miss Digg Spam 2006 (and a digg suggestion)
Update: We thank Tara for bringing us a nice bit of traffic.
Alright, so Tara Connor, Miss USA has been given a second chance. Stephanie over at Back in Skinny Jeans has a good overview of the situation.
And I am sure you are wondering why is this story on CenterNetworks. Give me a minute to explain.
Over the last few hours, look (bottom of this article) at the mass of stories on Digg relating to this. In looking at each one of them, they are basically the exact same story. "Miss USA Tara Connor gets a 2nd chance after smoking crack."
My suggestion for Digg is to create a way to have "master topics" and then everyone's story sits under that topic. Here, instead of having all of these stories plaguing the ability to find other stories of interest, there would be one Tara Connor main master topic and all topics related to her would sit under that one with the ability to be dugg. Similar to how they are doing episodes of a podcast.
Here are 16 of the stories in the entertainment section about her. This is only a sample! This is why...
