Imagine play buttons more designed and I don't think I'd mind that layout too much. Uglier ads and autoplay though and it's a bomb. (Nice link from Gizmodo btw!) I suspect they'll start appearing in Google Video, YouTube and any AdSense advertisers that want them. I also expect Google to make deals with video content owners (TV, Movie, etc.) to allow them to start monetizing copyrighted content.
