MyClick Partners With Neo@Ogilvy on Innovative Mobile Advertising Product
Based in Hong Kong, MyClick is the latest in the mobile advertising market. MyClick is a "pull" system which appears to be very cool when I viewed the demo video. The idea is simple. You take pictures with your mobile of products you want to learn more about. After snapping the picture, MyClick sends back information about the product instantly. You can also snap pictures of special coupons which can deliver to your pre-defined locations.
Today MyClick is announcing a partnership with Neo@Ogilvy to bring the MyClick technology to it’s customer base. "This enterprise represents a leap forward in an ad agency’s ability to manage a client’s advertising budget," noted Neo@Ogilvy’s Executive Deputy GM Richard Wang, "MyClick affords us the power to reach customers on a new scale and with new influence."
One of my questions is to find out how the ads are served. For example, I take a photo of a Hummer. Am I sent to Hummer’s site, a local Hummer dealer or a fan site about Hummers?
Here is the MyClick CEO describing the service:

Thanks for the clarification Tomas!
The point is that you cannot take a picture of any item. You can just take picture of a special 2d tag.
Its just new version of 2d barcodes, where barcode is not a black/white nonsense, but actual picture of an product in a black border.
If you take a picture of a Fanta bottle on your table, it will not work.
tomas
You can take a picture of the “Fanta bottle” with my click. You can actually take a picture of the label as there is a Framless version of MyClick. From there you could be sent to say a Blog site and comment on Fanta etc.
