nextNYers - Startup Alpha
Written by Allen Stern - April 1, 2008
This week on nextNYers, host Courtney Nichols sits down with StartUp Alpha Founder and CEO Donna Bogatin offers an insider's look at her company. StartUp Alpha is a Silicon Alley social network for entrepreneurs to not only pitch themselves but to actively network their startup company. Bogatin is focusing on business models and sustainability for the startups she works with. She is looking at a corporate sponsorship as a funding model and the business is currently self-funded. In the "cool app" generation, Bogatin notes that the hope is to give out something for free and then gain good traction. She is helping companies create unique business models.

Her old blog did a good job of ripping into people and companies, all while leaving the comments disabled.
