Free Office Furniture from WasteMatch

This is for the NYC startups out there. Charlie O’Donnell posted this on the nextNY list and I thought it was worth sharing. I have no idea about the quality or history behind NY WasteMatch. Just passing the info along – apparently all of the items are free so you better be quick if you want any of them.

We have two clients that need to give away office furniture.
*Client one (no images available):*

  • 39 – Gray Desk drawers on wheels (top drawer smaller, bottom bigger, can be used as filing cabinet)
  • 34 – L shaped open cubicles. Legs are silver, desk top – kinda Ikea birch (light tan) with opaque dividers on front side, bulletin cork on the side, dividers can be removed
  • 6 – L shaped open cubicles. Legs are silver, desk top – kinda Ikea birch (light tan) without dividers
  • 6 – Square black desk with opaque top and steel monitor shelf. Built in filing cabinet & footrest
  • 11 – Long birch tables with metal legs
  • 5 – Small birch tables with metal legs
  • 46 – Office chairs – on wheels with arm rest and lean back capabilities
  • 2 – Black leather office chairs, one stationary, one on wheels
  • 2 – Black office chairs on wheels
  • 2 – Silver file cabinet – 2 drawer
  • 1 – Wood colored computer desk with Monitor shelf & keyboard drawer
  • 1 – White personal file cabinet – 4 drawer
  • 1 – Silver personal file cabinet – 4 drawer
  • 1 – Large conference room table
  • 1 – Medium size white conference room table
  • 1 – Large blue Ikea couch
  • 1 – Medium size coffee table (birch color)
  • 1 – Black short bookshelf (4 shelves)
  • 2 – Tall wood bookshelves (4 shelves)
  • 4 – Large file cabinets (4 drawers)
  • 2 – Medium file cabinets (2 drawers)
  • 5 – Grey credenza style cabinets (combination locked for privacy)
  • 1 – Black chair for back pain (no back, angled forward)
  • 4 – Black & steel counter stools with backs
  • 2 – XL Dark Brown desks with four desk drawers (2 on each side)
  • 2 – Wood desk tops with file cabinets on either side as drawers
  • 2 – Tall oscillating fans
  • 3 – Desktop oscillating fans

  • 2 – Tall bookcases
  • 3 – Short bookcases
  • 1 – Short double bookcase
  • 8 – Desks (all are slightly different, but all measure approx. 58"x30"x29" and are made of wood)
  • 2 – Desks with returns
  • 1 – Brown credenza
  • 1 – Light brown credenza
  • 1 – Wooden hutch
  • 1 – Receptionist desk/counter
  • 5 – Four-drawer filing cabinets
  • 4 – Rolling chairs (of different colors)

    Hello, we are a youth organization 501c-3 not for profit that is about to open our youth center and in need of office furniture. we need a few conference tables with office chairs, a few desks and book cases because we are building a library. We would appreciate any help in obtaining these items.

    I just started ahome based public interest law practice in desperae need of atleast 5 bookshelves, 1 large desk with filing drawers, 2 medium sized filing cabinets, and a medium sized conference table.

    Thank you for your email , i will like to take about five to six pieces of the OFFICE FURNITURE PROVIDED THEY ARE IN GOOD FEARLY NEW CONDITION.
    THE ITEMS NEEDED ARE:
    . 1- BLACK LEATHER OFFICE CHAIRS, on wheels
    . 2- OFFICE CHAIRS – on wheels with arm rest and lean back capabilities.
    . 1- LARGE BLUE IKEA COUCH

    We are a non proft orgnisation we have just got an office we need 2 workstation tables one for the director and one for the reception, need two leather-faced chairs with back surpport, we need two 3 Drawer Gray filling cabinets, we need one Lockable Cupboard.we need one 3 seat Leather Reception Seating. All these Furnitures are needed URGENTLY AS WE HAVE NON RIGTH NOW. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
