NYC Tech Events – Week of April 25

There are a couple of events next week that I thought were worth highlighting. Check Gary’s Guide for a comprehensive list of events in your city.

The Hive at 55 coworking space is hosting a free lunch on Monday. Christoher Minnick will discuss, “what corporate clients expect from their independent contractors (and what you can do to get more business).” It’s also a good opportunity to check out the coworking space.

Girl Geek Dinner will hold their next event on April 27th. The dinner and discussion will be held in midtown. You must be female to attend and the cost is $15.

Learn how to build websites with Drupal and WordPress on Wednesday evening.

Web2NewYork will show off some of the newest startups from around NYC. Cost is $10 which includes a drink.

The University of Pennsylvania will hold an event showcasing a variety of NYC startup demos and networking on Wednesday evening. The event costs $5. (ya’all should attend as I might be presenting)
