Online Marketing Manager

The Online Marketing Manager will lead innovation and implementation within paid search and is responsible for executing strategies, tactics, and marketing programs to optimize and grow Salesforce’s SEM operation.
This individual has exceptional research, analytic, marketing and project management skills. She or he is entrepreneurial, hard-working, results-driven, a self starter, and one that gets things done.
Responsibilities:
Actively manage SEM campaigns to maximize ROI, coverage, and awareness
Manage bids, cost-per-click, position, bids, coverage and daily budget in all major search engines
Monitor & rationalize ad portfolio to meet program goals (reallocate spend across search engines, keywords, etc.)
Collaborate with internal teams to develop messaging and marketing themes for various SEM campaigns
Work closely with external SEM vendors/consultants, internal product line managers to select keywords, develop ad copy, and implement landing pages
Work with internal creative team to develop maintain landing page creatives
Ensure coverage for competitive and awareness campaigns
Design and implement scalable search campaign capabilities including benchmarking, metrics and best practices
Required Skills/Experience:
Passion to execute successful marketing programs and SEM
2-3 years experience in highly analytical and creative environment
Excellent messaging skills and project management skills a must
Experience in SEM/SEO is a plus
Knowledge of optimization techniques, regression, and statistical analysis preferred
Must be a self starter that is comfortable working in a fast paced company
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field required
