Based in our San Francisco studio and reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, the Online Marketing Specialist / Web Developer manages frog corporate marketing’s web presence and oversees the development and execution of online marketing programs to foster frog’s brand recognition worldwide.

The focus of this role is on managing frogdesign.com, constantly seeking for ways to improve the branded user experience, drive web traffic, and convert traffic into leads. S/he will work closely with the content producer and the senior communications designer on additions to the site, new locales (such as a Chinese site), content updates, and micro-sites.

In addition, the Marketing Specialist / Web Developer will manage frog’s design mind platform (http://designmind.frogdesig.com), a portal that promotes thought leadership content and comprises of a magazine, a blog network, and video programming.

The Marketing Specialist / Web Developer will also oversee frog’s social media strategy, including social networks, blogs, micro-blogs, social bookmarking, etc.

We are looking for someone who loves to code but at the same has a knack for developing innovative online marketing programs that create buzz on the web and have positive impact on lead generation.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive and manage the continued development and maintenance of frogdesign.com
• Drive and manage the continued development and maintenance of designmind.frogdesign.com
• Field, prioritize, and implement requests for new content and features
• Create and implement new design templates, micro-sites, and landing pages
• Implement e-mail blasts, newsletters, and other online marketing programs
• Develop, implement, and monitor SEO strategy
• Implement web quality assurance standards
• Maintain and optimize Drupal-based content management system
• Foster social media distribution of all frog-branded content
• Analyze effectiveness of web site and online marketing programs
• Manage salesforce.com databases and lead funnel
• Manage email outbound campaign platform
• Maintain marketing assets on corporate Intranet
Job Requirements
Required skills:

• 3-5 years experience in web site development and online marketing
• Good working knowledge of Drupal or equivalent (Joomla, WordPress)
• Professional experience in HTML, CSS, and scripting (PHP and JavaScript – Ajax)
• Comfortable with MySQL database
• Familiarity with web standards
• Familiarity with Adobe CS applications and Flash is a bonus
• Experience with salesforce.com
• Experience with developing in and integrating with public web services, such as social networks, Google, and Yahoo
• Knowledge of source control principles (SVN)
• Eye for aesthetics and understanding of user-centered design
• Solid grasp of SEO
• Experience with e-mail marketing software
• Experience with streaming video is a plus
• Good understanding of web server architecture and hosting technologies is a plus
• Video editing skills a plus
• Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with a high degree of creativity, energy, and enthusiasm
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to challenging timescales
• Passion for innovative marketing
• Sense of humor
