Create Rich Presentations Online With Empressr (video demo)

Last night at the Web2NewYork meetup, Empressr presented their online presentation application. Empressr has created a rich online presentation creator which founder Bryan Thatcher explained was built from the ground up versus many of the other presentation applications which were built from desktop applications.
The Empressr service can pull assets from across the Web including from YouTube, Flickr, etc. It can also display live content from Twitter via a hashtag you setup. You can also import content from Powerpoint and Flash.
The company plans to generate revenue using the freemium model. Here’s Bryan’s demo from last night:
This demo could not have been worse. A better demo would be to just show what other people have made and then talk a little about how presentations are made.
