Pageflakes Expands Distribution With Super Bowl Pagecast
by Allen Stern on December 17th, 2007
Start page creator Pageflakes announced last week a distribution deal where they will create a "Pagecast" for this year’s Super Bowl. A Pagecast is a pre-made start page with various widgets on it. In this example, the widgets are all based around the Super Bowl and the location which is Phoenix, Arizona.
I can tell you that getting the words "Super Bowl" on any campaign is hard and expensive. In my former life, we typically had to use "big game" or "big Sunday" instead as it was just too expensive to purchase for each promotion. Huge win for the Pageflakes team.
Here’s the Super Bowl Pagecast (click it for larger version):
Other start pages we have covered include: Schmedley, Bubbletop, yourminis and Netvibes.
