Pluck Powers The Dallas Cowboys; Maybe This Year They Will Win?

PluckWhite-label social networking provider Pluck is announcing today that they will now power the social media for the Dallas Cowboys franchise. The Pluck SiteLife tool will power over 20 Web properties, including DallasCowboys.com, DallasCowboysCheerleaders.com, and CowboysFan4Life.com.

Pluck notes that their SiteLife product enables online properties to engage site visitors with a complete range of social media capabilities including user comments, ratings, recommendations, reviews, photo and video sharing, forums, blogs and integrated social networking profiles called Personas. Combining all of the Pluck-powered properties, they serve over 2 billion pageviews a month.

Will this help the Dallas Cowboys win in 2008? Well, let’s not forget that the NY Giants won the Super Bowl this past year. As much as I like Pluck, the Giants will still easily handle the Cowboys.

Forrester analyst Jeremiah Owyang has a recap of a panel yesterday on what’s wrong with white-label social networking industry. Other players in the white-label social networking space include NY-based KickApps and Magnify.net along with Valley-based Ning.
