Looking for a Job? Post Your Resume on CenterNetworks
Over the past two weeks, 30+ people have asked me for help in finding a new job via email, in person, over chat, etc. I always try to point the people to a variety of job boards (including ours). Sites like JobWire are great for announcing that you just found your next job. What about people who are actively searching for a new job?
Here’s what I’d like to test on CenterNetworks this month. If it works, I will look at creating a Web app where we can extend the functionality further.
If you are looking for a job, send in your resume link and links to your blog and/or social profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and every Friday we will post all of the profiles we receive. Also make sure to list the type of position you are looking for along with your desired location(s). Your email should include a list of links — your contact info should be on your resume link.
We will start with residents of the U.S. and Canada. Eventually we will go worldwide. There’s no charge for this service so start sending in your links! I really hope we can connect people and employers. Please do not leave your links in the comments on this post.
Update: I received a couple of emails from people who would prefer to not post their profile links. So if you prefer, you can send in a short block of text about yourself, what you are looking for and your desired location along with the email address for prospective employers to contact you at.

What a great idea – serves the community well – looking forward to seeing the resumes on Friday.
Great idea CN, I’ve blurted out my Linkedin profile via twitter on occasion with nary a nibble. Maybe your solution can get me a few more bites.
Fantastic idea… I’m looking forward to reviewing some of the profiles here!!
Great idea. I’m not looking to change jobs right now, but if I was I would participate.
