PostPin classifieds launches
A new classifieds site launched this weekend. PostPin claims that their classifieds provides a new approach to online classifieds that focuses on ease of use, convenience, and simplicity.
"I wanted a classifieds site my mom could use," said founder Dan McCormick. "There are a lot of classifieds sites out there, but none are friendly and intuitive. We started PostPin to fill that gap."
From PostPin: "Built from the ground up with ease of use in mind, PostPin provides a simple set of features that prove highly useful: It remembers which posts you've read, allows you to bookmark listings within the site, and even lets you take notes on listings that interest you.
Browsing through the listings themselves is no longer a painful process of clicking links and hitting back buttons. Instead, a list of postings appear in a column on the left-hand side of the page, and the postings themselves appear on the right. Users only need to press the spacebar to go from one listing to the next."
As we all know the issue for PostPin will be getting postings and getting visitors. Craigslist has this already. When I search for jobs in NYC on PostPin, it returns one result that looks like spam. The site does function well and has a clean look.
