Pownce - it's pretty freakin' sweet!

Ok, I must admit. I wanted to hate this app. So many commenters on TechCrunch and Mashable say this is a worthless app. While I may still hate it after using it more, I just played with it for 10 minutes and it's pretty freaking sweet. It's what I have said all along Twitter should have been; that is a business productivity tool.

Pownce combines the best of Twitter, divshare and Renkoo into one slick app. While it's not the meat level of each app individually, if I can get my friends to use this, Twitter would be worthless to me.

I don't see any mobile access so Twitter wins there, but Pownce has a better interface, and has THREADED discussions. Gosh how I hate that about Twitter. The @ crap is tired.

It looks like the basic account is free and a pro account is $20/yr. I woudn't jump to the pro until we see some stability first. The free account will be advertising based at some point.
