Quality Assurance Engineer

Digg is looking to add a QA Engineer to join our crew in San Francisco.

We’re looking for someone with plenty of knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches. As well, this person should have a passion for testing and the ability to work independently.This person will be responsible for helping maintain our current QA environments, as well as contribute to the test execution efforts of the QA team.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 2+ Years testing commercial websites
* Knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches
* Passion for testing and the ability to work independently
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL
* Experience with Load/Performance testing highly preferred (JMeter/Loadrunner)
* Experience with Javascript, Ruby, XHTML and CSS preferred
* Experience with Test Automation preferred (Selenium, WATIR, Cruise Control)
* Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or other relevant field
