ROO Group Partners With Abacast and Pando Networks
NY-based online video network ROO Group (OTC: RGRP) has announced a new partnership with Abacast and Pando Networks today. The new partnership will allow ROO to offer peer-to-peer (P2P) streaming solutions to its current and future customers through the ROO Media Player. By combining forces with Abacast and Pando, ROO will be able to offer these P2P products as white-label solutions to its global network of customers — increasing streaming quality while reducing associated bandwidth costs.
The companies will immediately enter a technical integration phase, with live customer deployments of the combined solution expected by the end of the first quarter.
ROO has gone through a tough spell recently, closing offices in upstate NY and the company’s stock is down from a 52-week high of $4.49 to its current price of $0.22.
