Safari Application Engineer
The Safari and Web Kit team is responsible for the Safari web browser, the fastest and best browser on any platform. As part of the Platform Experience team in Mac OS X Engineering, we work closely with the engineers who are doing other Mac OS X frameworks that make up Cocoa and Carbon, human interface design, products such as Apple TV and iPhone, and vital system applications like Mail, iChat, and the Finder.
As a Safari Application Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing innovations for the Safari application, as well as helping to maintain Safari and the WebKit framework
Required Experience:
* Detailed knowledge of C++.
* Good programming skills.
* Experience developing and shipping innovative software
* Basic knowledge of web browsers is a must, as is comfort with the command line.
Preferred Experience:
* Detailed knowledge of web standards such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM.
* Knowledge of Unix tools such as cvs, make, and perl, Xcode, and other programming tools on other platforms.
