Seekler is a Community List Aggregation Tool

Community list aggregator Seekler has opened to the public last week. Kristen Nicole has an initial review from back in October when the company launched their private beta.

In the example I checked out today, "best movies" – individuals create their own best movies list and then Seekler aggregates them together. What might be a nice addition is to compare the community list to a list from the professional movie reviewers. Also more filters for age, gender, income, etc could make Seekler a good research tool over time.

While I don’t see any advertising, if Seekler could build a good traffic and search traffic base, Seekler could look at affiliate marketing for product lists. Take a look at their Mac Games list, each of the games could easily be linked to Amazon or Game Stop for purchase.

To get the momentum and potentially viral nature of the site going, they will need to seed/start some controversial and/or hot topics.

This type of community list aggregation is something that BricaBox might want to explore.
