Senior Front End Developer

We are seeking an extremely experienced Front End Developer to open our award winning angel investor platform to the entrepreneurial community. We understand the importance of the presentation layer of our application and are willing to pay for the best JavaScript wizard in the City.

Who we are:
Angelsoft is a well funded web startup located off of Madison Park in NYC. Angelsoft 2.0, our free, web-based productivity tool for Angel investors is revolutionizing the way early stage finance is done by creating a clear and consistent way for entrepreneurs to find financing. With a CEO who is the chairman of the New York Angels and an associated incubator below us, not only are we a startup, we are firmly rooted in the world of entrepreneurship.

What you’ll do:
We have almost all of the world’s most active angel investor groups using our software. We are now gathering requirements for the entrepreneur platform that will enable young companies to tap this capital resource and fundamentally change the way they raise capital. Along with helping us continue to improve our investor tools, you will work with our award-winning product and development teams to create a dynamic Web 2.0 interface for our entrepreneur platform.

Requirements
* A strong understanding of (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and JSP
* Experience with Web 2.0 frameworks and design paradigms
* Expertise in building cross-browser applications
* Able to troubleshoot and independently research and resolve problems
* Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, applying your technical skill to solve user experience issues.

Responsibilities
* Build quality, cross-browser components that bend the limits of JavaScript and the latest front-end frameworks.
* Analyze and advise on the viability of various user interfaces.
* Learn new technologies and methods to stay on the cutting edge.
