Job Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior PHP Web Developer to fill an immediate opening on our team. You will be individually responsible for both front-end and back-end development of Object-Oriented LAMP-based websites/applications for high-end clientele, which incorporate designs from our creative team and apply Web 2.0 techniques. Working closely with a Project Manager, you will be expected to design, architect, and execute projects from start to finish. Work includesscope definition, writing documentation, drafting wireframes, fielding technical questions from clients, engineering solutions to meet specific milestones and deadlines, programming of web applications and associated database queries.

Desired Experience and Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university preferred

Intermediate to Advanced experience in:

PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Ajax, MVC Frameworks, OOdesign and development

· Creating tableless, standards-compliant markup that works across all major browsers from supplied photoshop designs

· PHP Frameworks (CakePHP, Zend, Symfony, CodeIgniter)

· Javascript Frameworks (Dojo, Prototype, Mootools, JQuery)

· E-Commerce (ZenCart, Magento)

· Content Managements Systems (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)

· Social Networking

· Streaming Video

· Search Engine Optimization

· Web Services, XML/XSLT and SOAP style interfaces
