Senior Web Marketing Coordinator
QIS Marketing is looking for someone who is excited by the web, someone who embraces the web and all that it can do for marketing our mobile products and services. This position requires extensive experience in delivering web 2.0 solutions for marketing and product purposes as well as a strong background in bringing websites and other web marketing tactics to fruition. Specific skillsets we are looking for include: designing/creating websites, planning/implementing search engine marketing, email marketing, online advertising, online campaigns utilizing social media and anything else that screams interactive or online.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Web Marketing Coordinator position will be responsible for website creation, managing content on these websites and coordinating various online marketing projects. Required skills are listed below, but inlcude junior to mid-level HTML programming, SEM/SEO, graphic/web design skills and copy writing. The main focus for this position will to be to develop our web 2.0 marketing strategy and then act to implement all the pieces of the strategy that we see as critical to help create, maintain and market our product web sites and customer communities.
- Understand the family of web properties that we manage and provide direct support so they can be leveraged to meet business/marketing objectives
- Design, develop and recommend web-based solutions in collaboration with the QIS Marketing Team and internal stakeholders
- Use internal Content Management System to design, develop and launch web sites and the associated content (Teamsite experience is a plus)
- Support web improvements based on established web guidelines (interactive, design and editorial) and manage the day-to-day operations for our global online/web-based properties
- Coordination of integrated web/online marketing projects (plan, coordinate, launch and measure success in collaboration with other functional areas of marketing)
- Build and cultivate strong strategic, partner-based relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders and marketing/industry colleagues at all organizational levels across Qualcomm
- Maintain strong knowledge of the latest web/online industry trends to ensure our web & online marketing programs incorporate new features/technologies in a cost-effective way
- Work to shared deadlines & budgets
Skills/Experience
- Expertise in web design/usability & development; must understand basic work flow for web projects (coding experience preferred)
- Strong graphics background/capabilities a plus; should be able to demonstrate ability to create usable and stunning web interfaces
- Solid knowledge of web standards & Internet technologies including content management, site analytics, SEO
- Strong analytical, project management/operations and presentation skills (working knowledge of other marketing functions a plus)
- Vendor & budget management experience required
- Must be skilled at interfacing with internal customers
- Must be an enthusiastic team player and web marketing steward
- Must be innovative and have the ability to identify new opportunities to exploit Internet-based technology to foster awareness, drive marketing, promote products and improve customer satisfaction
Additional Skills
- 5 years experience with web marketing or web project management
- Must possess excellent portfolio
- Good understanding of web developments standards, user interface fundamentals, layout and typography
- Knowledge of usability, functionality and technical implementations on designs
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and other necessary tools needed for web-related work
- Proficient knowledge of web-standard HTML/CSS
- Previous experience with Content Management Systems
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- Self starter
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Prefer individuals who have studied in graphic design or marketing or have work experience with the web.
