ShoeMoney banned from MyBlogLog - a sign of things to come?

ShoeMoney has just announced that he has been banned from MyBlogLog. Check out his story plus the comment from the Scott Rafer from MyBlogLog offering a refund to Shoe.
Shoe claims that all he did was report on some bugs within the MyBlogLog system.
The MyBlogLog service has received a lot of praise and critical comments since it blew up on the scene and quickly acquired by Yahoo!. Overall I think the service is neutral, I don't like the widget because no one needs to know what blogs I visit unless I want to share that.
Update: Andy Beal has removed and is boycotting MBL from his Marketing Pilgrim site until Shoe's profile is reinstated.

Not that I’m sticking up for MBL, because I don’t know, nor do I care, what they do, but come on people. The guy didn’t even email them the problem. Instead he went straight to posting proof that he was able to exploit their site.
Why would they NOT ban him? He’s obviously interested in circumventing their security and trying to make a name for himself. You’ve got to be an absolute f’in moron to not see why they would ban him… be reasonable.
Yea I agree with you Jimmy. This reminds me of what happened on TechCrunch about 2 weeks ago with Obama web site.
Mike made a post about there being some racial remarks on the site in an open area (he claimed that possibly someone from the inside did this or there was no testing I think, I disagree with the idea that someone on the inside purposely did it).
Most of the comments came in saying he should have mailed Obama about this. And then the manager from Obama said that too, and Mike said he wouldnt vote for him because of this.
It is a hard decision as to whether you post these flaws in public or go to the company. I guess I would hope if you go to the company, that either they compensate you for the bug finding or they at least let the public know you helped them fix and find the bugs.
You could always give www.milliondollaravatar.com a shot - it’s a free avatar based social networking site (comparisons to MyBlogLog have been made and I guess were inevitable). But I threw in a few unique twists to offer an original experience.
This was a non-funded project. I designed, developed the entire thing over the course 3.5 weeks (nights and sundays only).
