ShopNBC Announces (lame) New Sales Initiative Through Amazon.com
ShopNBC has announced a sales deal with Amazon. I have to ask... WHY!?!?! ShopNBC sells basically old crap, their computers are at least 1-2 generations old (even though they will make you believe they are new) and the TigerDirect guy is always pushing old LCD TVs. I can't speak to the jewelry or the other home items, but I guess Amazon is willing to put these old electronics on their site for some lucrative listing fee.
A note from their release:
ShopNBC products will be featured on Amazon at the ShopNBC store and also through traditional Amazon product search. Thousands of products will be featured, ranging from watches and jewelry to home goods and electronics. Presenting ShopNBC's wide selection of quality brands, trend-forward designers, and must-have products to Amazon customers enhances the values and assortment Amazon can offer its customers while at the same time introducing those customers to ShopNBC.
Ha.
