Simply Hired Launches International Sites in Europe and South America
Job aggregation service Simply Hired has announced the launch of a variety of international sites today. The list includes local job search sites for Italy, Ireland, Belgium, Brazil and the Netherlands. Simply Hired notes that they are indexing over five million jobs around the world. The idea is rather than having to go to job search sites, newspaper listings and internal company job boards, services like SimplyHired bring them all together in one place.
An interesting note is that their partnership with LinkedIn will allow local searchers to find connections at the companies they are interested in. This could provide job searchers with a leg up on the competition as the referral will come from an internal source if the internal connection is willing to pimp the applicant.
