Software Developer – Oracle Financials

Responsibilities:
· Analyze business process challenges and identify the best technical solutions utilizing Oracle Financials
· Develop, maintain and enhance custom applications in Oracle Financials
· Design and build custom Oracle reports to support the needs of all the core business units
· Perform system upgrades, disaster recovery planning and general monitoring and maintenance tasks on Oracle Financials system
· Provide training for technical and non-technical users of Oracle Financials
· Establish engineering best practices for building applications in Oracle Financials

Qualifications:
Candidate must have outstanding functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Applications with experience in the Oracle Financials Module.

· 3+ years experience in the Oracle Developer Suite (Forms, Reports, Discoverer) required
· 3+ years knowledge of Oracle Financials version 11i required
· Experience in troubleshooting, acquiring and applying patches and upgrading Oracle Financials
· Knowledge of General Ledger, Payables, Receivables modules required
· Experience integrating non-Oracle source data into Oracle Financials through the Oracle APIs, interface tables and direct table insertion required
· Experience building data-driven services and applications
· Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle RDBMS, Unix, shell scripting
· Knowledge of Java/C#/C/C++ or other related programming languages a plus
· Ability to quickly learn and assist in implementation of new Oracle modules
· Proven experience in all phases of the software development cycle
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to interact effectively with non-technical, functional user community

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science required
