As a Software Integration Engineer for GoMobo, you’ll integrate various Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems with GoMobo’s mobile ordering platform.  This is a senior level technical position that will require a multitude of different skills for each project. You will report to the Development Manager and work according to specifications from a Systems Architect. 

You should be self-motivated, well-organized, and excited to take ownership and responsibility for your work.  GoMobo has a strong focus on teamwork, so it’s important to be able to give and take criticism constructively, and you should also have a passion for computing and software engineering that extends past working hours. Above all you should be psyched about the mobile space and the possibilities for GoMobo!

Application Requirements:

• B.Sc Computer Science or equivalent tertiary education
• At least 3 years work experience in development and integration projects (particularly desktop applications) at senior technical level.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, C#, and C++
• Good all-round knowledge relating to software engineering, platforms, languages, databases, networking & sockets programming, OO, SOA, middleware layers and integration methodologies.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments an advantage.
• Experience in development or integration with Point-of-Sale software a huge advantage.
