Sologig relaunches – site helps freelancers find opportunities
CareerBuilder relaunched their contractor/freelancer web site today. Sologig helps freelancers find positions. It is free to post a profile and they also list "gig" type positions on the site.
From Sologig, "Sologig.com connects job seekers who are not seeking full-time employment with project-based employment, using CareerBuilder.com's best-of-breed technology. More than 1.9 million freelance job seekers visit Sologig.com each year to search for job postings by city, state and keyword, or post their resume online."
Ben Jablow, Senior Business Development Director for Sologig.com noted about the relaunch, "The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that more than 10 million workers in the U.S. are independent contractors. Companies rely on this critical segment to dial up or dial down their workforce as determined by demand and seasonality. Sologig.com makes the recruitment process easier by providing fast access to quality freelance job seekers in a wide variety of industries, from writing to Web design."
