Sr. Flash Designer, Web

Photobucket is looking for a Sr. Flash Designer for our consumer-facing web site, marketing projects, and sales efforts. This position will be a key member of our team to promote the development of an innovative, user-friendly, best-of-breed product. Candidates must have expertise in HCI principles, excellent visual design skills, a sense of today’s style trends, good technical know-how, and solid results with attention to detail. This position will work in our San Francisco, CA office.

Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of web design experience primarily focusing on UI design solutions for professional Web and interactive products with a consumer-oriented audience.
- Passion for building great consumer and entertainment Internet products and hands on experience doing it.
- Deep experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and other designers
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Flash and actionscripting required.
- Must have mastery skills in Flash, After Effects
- Expertise in producing Web ready files, including expert level flash animation
- An expert understanding of design and typography in both print and computer mediums
- A solid comprehension of information design, HTML, capabilities of browsers and design constraints on the Web
- Have an outstanding interactive/online portfolio, with 5 years working in the interactive space and design education, preferably a BFA or related-field experience
- Understands and knows the dynamics of working with information architects and content organization processes
- Knows the importance of knowledge share and mentoring
- Able to work independently as well as integrate well with a highly dynamic creative group
- Expertise in HCI principles and web design best practices
- Experience leading design concepts and presenting those ideas to the team
- Degree or training in design related field

Responsibilities
- Working with the creative director to produce visual design solutions for various marketing/sales campaigns that will blend with our site
- Coordinating with creative director, designers, product manager, developers and writer to make sure visual design adheres to product requirements and also adheres to client requirements
- Ensuring visual design works in the Web environment
- Adhering to agreed-upon delivery schedule coordinated with project management
