Sr. Product Designer

Thumbplay Inc, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Designer to join a growing group of user experience professionals. The selected candidate will primary be focused on designing online and mobile products for Thumbplay.com. A strong proficiency in web / mobile product design, and familiarity with IA tenants. Experience designing mobile applications a huge plus. The position will also include marketing landing pages, online advertising and promotions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Produce clear, intuitive, user-oriented web and mobile product designs, including mobile applications
* Assist in spec and user experience architecture reviews
* Conceptualize and design online advertisements
* Assist in documentation of design processes and deliverables, including developing schedules. Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
* Work on cross functional teams including IA, Bus Dev and Marketing
* Help develop and enforce a style guide
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop new ideas and strategies
* Ad hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Four+ years of applied experience in designing web and mobile products
* Must have a strong sense of product design and web/mobile usability
* Familiar with HTML, XHTML, CSS, Web and mobile standards-based design
* Advanced Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
* Must have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and a drive to improve/develop new skills
* Passionate about design and all things Internet/Wireless
