Startup Tips Month Day 4: Noah Kagan from OkDork
Day #4 in the CenterNetworks Startup Tips Month comes from Noah Kagan of okdork.com.
Noah's Tips
- Never stop. That's when you will succeed.
- Would you do the work for free? Think about it. If so then you are working on the right thing.
- If people say it's a bad idea or don't do it. You are probably doing the right thing.
- Start now. Why are you reading this? If you have an idea or thought just start coding, hiring and get it going now. Why wait?
Thanks for reading my bio! So many people talk about themselves in third person and I prefer the one-on-one conversation. I graduated UC Berkeley in 2004, worked/slept at Intel for a year, worked at Facebook doing product management for a year, created the premier event for social networks, CommunityNext.com and currently work on marketing at Mint.com, a new free personal finance tool (Sign up for our Beta list).
Enjoy the shameless plug? I hope not. I am personally interested in how information exchange, online communities, technology that saves time and burritos. If you want to get in touch please check out my blog okdork.com.... in fact, if you + 2 friends leave a comment on my current post, i'll send you a Special Prize. promise!
