Statisfy launches... there goes my Saturday nights!

As many of you know (if you read CN a bit), I am a stats freak. Love stats. I would rather watch my referral log than watch Justin.tv. One of my favorite apps is one I use and reviewed last year called ExtremeTracking. One of the best parts of ET is their map tool. You can see on a world Google map where your site visitors are coming from. Colors of the icons change for a location as you get more and more traffic from that location. It works really well when you run a geo-targeted campaign as you can see if your efforts have been worth it or for naught.

Alex Hillman and I were discussing stats today and he showed me a new mashup (which launched today) between Google Maps and your referrers. Built by Warren Konkel and David Rappo of BountySource, the tool is called Statsify.

Statsify allows you to see in real-time where your site visitors are coming from. The site is very basic but the guys tell me they are working night and day to add more features to Statsify. You can add a tracker to your site by going to Statisfy. You can also check out the CenterNetworks tracker. Some of the things I have asked for (which are on the to-do list) are pause and rewind buttons, a way to see a day at a glance, conversions from raw useragent to something that makes more sense (XP shows as NT 5.1). What's great is that Warren and David are open to feedback which is so important for a startup.

Anyway, give it a try and if you wish, post your Statsify link in the comments for all to see!

Subject: Nice tool!

Great idea...especially if you have a high traffic site.

Just talked to David Rappo about the digg frontpage-ing of statisfy. They survived, are back up to normal operation with lots and lots of new sites being tracked. Also, NT5.1 is now showing up as Windows XP.

How's that for service with a smile? :-)
