SXSW: Expo Hall Photos
This afternoon marked the opening of the SXSW 2010 expo hall. Like most things at SXSW, the expo hall seems larger than in previous years with more large companies anchoring the space. Paypal, Google, Rackspace, AOLÂ and Microsoft all have huge sections of the space showing off their latest technologies. Panasonic has a huge truck that houses a 3D experience. Former PayPerPost, now Izea, seems to have a booth at every conference.
There are multiple companies that provide simple webpage creators (SnapPages and Lifeyo). And lots of musician and music management apps are showing off their wares.
Here are some photos from the expo hall – you can also check out my full SXSW photoset on Flickr.

EndlessBeauty – Wellness products

Panasonic 3D Truck – now you can watch your tweets in 3D – exciting!

If you got too many tabs, maybe you are TabbedOut

Rackspace – we don’t always have nodes, but we got lots of water

How long did it take to roll all those t-shirts?

Come sit down, make a database with Oracle – the biggest tv I’ve ever seen

Did you go early? doesn’t look that busy there. You have to wonder what those companies paid versus what they get for it too.
I was in there from 12-2pm – it opened at 12. It wasn’t as packed as some of the other expos – especially for the number of attendees. There wasn’t much free crap either which tends to keep people away.
The expo does go on today and part of tomorrow so perhaps it will be busier.
