SXSW: Kyte Pulls a Twitter
Allex - March 10th, 2008
Last year the company who got the lcd panels throughout the SXSW festival was Twitter. Most believe that this event made Twitter. This year Kyte (our coverage) has the panels. Friday and Saturday seemed to be going well, today not so much.
Here’s what the screens look like today:
While the Windows errors aren’t Kyte’s issue, it certainly doesn’t allow the company to show off their technology that I am guessing they paid a pretty penny for.

Yes, IE sucks. Luckily someone was kind enough to alert us so we could restart the browser. Overall the Plasmas have been a lot of fun. Some of the content is hilarious and it certainly has drawn a lot of attention to our platform. You can see what the plasma’s are displaying here: http://www.kyte.tv/press/sxsw/wide/
Best,
Gannon
.. the browser crashed! so what it happens.
Allen,
Instead of showing IE crash screens, you might be more interested in the actual Kyte platform… Stop by at our booth here at SXSW (#424/426). You can also reach me at daniel.graf [at] decentral.tv.
Daniel
PS: If you let IE run Flash for 12 hours straight, unfortunately crashes occasionally happen. I wish we had control over it.
Absolutely Daniel – I tried to stop by yesterday but the booth was packed – I try not to interrupt when you are crowded as we can always chat anytime.
This post was kind of a joke – I know you have no control over the IE, I even have a comment to that effect below the pictures.
I know it’s late in the festival but what about restart of IE every hour?
