I’m in Los Angeles I from 11:45 p.m. to 1:25 a.m on New Year eve and New Year day without service. I had a lost friend and was not able to give them directions. It was the worst time to lose service.

T-mobile sucks,,,I hate this damn company… my phone service has been up and down for about a month… i will be switching service.

Like hell it was 5%!!! I figure, probably the whole of the US was down, and that may well be 5% of the customer base for T-mobile!! They probably routed all the calls through some 3 computers somewhere, and one of the poor things died of old age…

T-Mobile was not the only service affected!

Include ATT for Houston AM hours on 11/4/09. No calls in/out and web service was shutdown. Service seamed to restore around 3 PM CST

Mine was out since 2:30-10:00 p.m.-
After calling Tmobile they offered a $5 credit.-I have three phones on a family plan yet I received a $5 credit.
To top it off, this is my work emergency phone.
My apartment complex has thousands of dollars in damage due to a water emergency that could have been minor had I been able to be contacted.
Unacceptable T mobile!

its a bunch of bull, my father in law has been trying to call me since last friday, he is over seas in hong kong. SO im sure that my service has been working on and off at least since then. and now its completely dead. its very hard to believe that only 5% of Tmobil;e customers lost service. This outage is occurring too often., altought last time it was a partial outage with data.

I am in the Houston area and my phone could not make or recieve calls since yesterday around 5pm central time until this morning when I woke up at 8am. That was a long time to have the network down, I work in an IT department. Also many of my friends and family use t-mobile and they were having issues as well.

Me and my husbands blackberry’s were both down, we restarted and nothing helped. Started at 3 ish our time (az time) and we had no service until 7 am this morning.

thats bad and i get dropped calls sometimes. tmobile is a lot chaeper but their network is not worh it.

i have a samsung behold phone on tmobile.my phone had fulls service at home but my phone said it was searching for a signal and i couldnt text,call,or use the web.i currently have service however.im very patient and easy going but all these service problems like service down, a lot of deadzones on the east coast, im thinking about switching services.

Im in Philly, My G1 was down since 7pm eastern time but my old Razor is still up and running! As of 12:45am, my G1 came back up.

I have a T-Mobile Blackberry – can’t receive calls, but can call out to everyone but T-Mobile’s Customer Service Line. I can still send and receive texts and emails. Did not try surfing the web on the phone. Another family member in the same household has a cheesy basic Nokia phone on the same T-Mobile family plan. His phone is working fine and has been throughout the outage. Started at 5:30 PM 11/03/09 in Michigan and still not resolved at 12:55 AM 11/04/09.
